Does music live in one place or has a multitude of interpretation? Does the composer or musician have an influence on what music sounds like? Is music a living, breathing entity that has many lives and paths towards various emotions? How important is our cultural background or life baggage to what comes out as music?
The artists on this compilation took the seeds for their music from the pieces composed for the 2022 album Légèreté De L'Être. The idea was simple: where might the music or the score lead you? The results are stunning and shows the boundless creativity of each and every single one of us.
The pieces will be released all through out the year 2024, starting on March 13th. Each track is available as a standalone or as an album once all the pieces will have been released. There will be at least 10 reimagining. Maybe we can continue the game by getting more creative minds involved... if interested in reimagining one of the pieces, please contact me.
