There are a lot of images and worlds that appear when listening to this piece. It’s melancholy with some brightness like the sun shining through the clouds. It’s the first piece where I included piano to see how the instruments could interact. Another transcribed improvised solo section in the last third of the piece.

Another stellar release from this long-lived ensemble. Though the King Crimson influence is obvious & that comparison unavoidable, these guys have made many great recordings that can't be categorized as 'mere copies'. The perfect balance of aggressive riffing and serene soundscapes.

In 1981 I was with my father in a Tangerine Dream concert in the Stadthalle Bremen. This piece of music brought both memories of this event and a very fresh note on top. Wonderful music beyond time and technology.
